Protocase builds copper bus bars, from your design, in 2-3 days. Bus bars can be designed flat or formed, depending on your needs. These may be part of a full enclosure design, or ordered as separate or a stand-alone component for your unit. We build in all the hardware and fasteners that you need. Typically, Copper Bus Bars are unfinished; however, powdercoat finish is also an option (typically with masking specified on contact areas).
Why use Copper Bus Bars?
A well-designed copper bus bar, used either alone or in conjunction with a circuit board, can perform multiple tasks including distributing large amounts of current, mounting components, and dissipating heat. Their judicious use can enable functionality as well as reduce cost.
